What a gorgeous pair of swallows, Philomena! Beautiful artwork! Love the reflection of the male swallow. There are 75 species of swallows throughout the world; eight are native to North America. These small, acrobatic birds feed on winged insects as they maneuver through the air. Swallows are easy to recognize in flight by their sharply pointed, angled wings and forked tails (animals.mom.com) Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture and for joining the Beautiful Bird Challenge.
