Good Morning my Dear Sweet Recolor Family 👪 ❤ I hope you are all doing well and getting yourself excited about Spring! I know that as much as I enjoy Winter the Spring renews me and I'm ready for some bright sunshine and getting my flower garden planted! If you are reading this I have a question! I just had a huge pine tree removed but the stump is still there, which I like the look of but I don't know what flowers to plant around it! They will have to be sun/shade ones and do you have

2 years agoBeautiful 💙💙 If the stump is a bit high, you could try orchids. The Kandyan dancer is yellow and it looks exactly like a dancer. 💛💛

Love gardening… what planting zone are you in? You could start with a yellow bulb flower that will come up in early spring such as tulips or daffodils and then have some perennials that are summer blooms after the bulbs. Yellow daisies or ??? Even a a climbing rose or two that will artistically drape and grow over the stump. Have fun! 💐💐💐

2 years agoPS Was just at our local arboretum and saw several stumps where they drilled out part of the center, filled it with earth and planted low spreading ground cover that eventually grows from the top down to the ground. Looks gorgeous

But everything you suggested I love and I'm going to do! I already wrote down everything you said! Wow! Now I'm really excited about the Spring. Do you know yet what you are going to be planting?
