For the Sunday Madness Challenge - Cars - hosted by our lovely and talented Recolor friend Angela. Pictured is a 1928 Auburn 8-115 Boattail Speedster. New this car sold for just under $2,000., which was a considerable sum of money in 1928. It was called a Speedster because it could reach a top end speed of 100 mph, very fast by 1928 standards. Only 226 were produced. The last one I could find that sold at auction sold in 2022 for $478,000.
