My Mother Joan
She’s stardust now, but I miss her magnificent love, her fierce intellect, her spiritual quest, her voice while she read me poetry, her love of dogs, her graceful dancing.
I wish she had lived to see her 8 great grandchildren-five of whom are mine. 🥲😢🥰

4 months agoAbsolutely gorgeous and the perfect tribute to your amazing mom- what a fabulous woman who raised an equally fabulous daughter!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Hubby and I are activists for AARP- we’re members of the Capitol Hill Strike Force - sounds impressive but we’re all way over 65 and we wear our bright red shirts and attend congressional hearings and votes on the Hill- a constant reminder that what they decide affects real people. Wednesday we went to a bi-partisan hearing about the budget deficit.
