Our precious bunny Bailey “Bun-Bun” passed on Oct. 27. She went peacefully & swiftly which we had prayed about. She'd been dealing with a sinus/respiratory illness for years. Gabe was giving her medication & ventilation treatments twice daily. We didn't want her to suffer or feel scared like she was drowning. We were grateful that she was still showing her sweet personality & joy, binkying (joyful jumps), purring, flopping, thumping & licking us (kisses) all up to right before she passed. (1/3)

Then she crawled into her tube (her warren) her breathing shallowed & she went with all of us with her, me, my mom, Gabriel, my brother & his family. She was the best & our daily lives were very much entwined with her & it’s been really hard trying to figure out different routines. She was such a comfort to both Gabriel & myself. (2/3)

Since I had to move into the bedroom she would come & visit me in here & she was a big comfort to Gabe, they’d spend the evenings together & she would flop onto his lap & he’d pet her for hours. I just hope she knows how much she was loved. 💫This coloring is of my childhood rabbit Licorice & Bun-Bun on the right. I like to think they’re together now doing binkies in the clouds & flopping together. (3/3)

This is a wonderful tribute to both bunnies. So sorry for your loss. It’s so heartbreaking to lose a pet since we consider them a family member. I think she knows how much you all loved her.
