3 years agoIt is about a girl who is not the favorite daughter. She has trouble with her self concept. You can read the first part online to get an idea. It’s called Down the Path of Destruction by Enna Redlum. Let me know if you check it out, ok? Have you taken on the challenge of writing a book? If you like to write, you should give it a try. I worked for several years on mine, and decided I wouldn’t publish it. But then I shared it with my sister, and she said it’s a story that should be told.

3 years ago@gram gram I will totally check it out when I have the time to. I have tried writing many books but for me I have a tendency to stop mid story and never return. So I have a bunch of unfinished story’s just sitting around. Do u have any advice on how to stick with it and finish a story?

3 years agoFor me, it took encouragement from my dear sister. It takes stick-to-it-iveness, if you understand what I mean. I would love to encourage you. Which one is your favorite? Get the general plot laid out, type that up with ideas by chapter. Begin filling in the chapter that is the most interesting to you, or the one you have the most detailed ideas. Then go back in and put in the details. Just a suggestion. I’d LOVE. to encourage you!!!

3 years agoAnd the people who have read my book are excited about my second one. So it is their encouragement that keeps me going. I probably write at least three hours a day. Sometimes over eight hours.

3 years ago@gram gram Thanks for the suggestion and the encouragement, I appreciate it. Wow I can’t imagine writing for over eight hours. I’m still in school and I don’t have the time to sit and write for that long. I’m assuming ur asking which story I’ve written so far is my favorite. It’s one about a girl named Autumn growing up with a guardian angel named Cole. They were friend until he stopped physically appearing to her. She continues to grow up and eventually forgets about him until she sees him one

3 years agoSound intriguing...great imagination! Yes, I’m retired. I taught middle school and college. Masters Degree in administration. So now that we are hunkered down because of the pandemic, both my husband and I are writing. Keep all your ideas and notes. If you don’t get them written while you are young and busy, it will be something you can do later. It does take time!
