@photobert we cannot share hyperlinks without them getting taken down, but the CDC does have some guidelines on their website—I didn’t look as I have a local friend who manufactures products for disabled children and adults, and she is making masks and provided all the info to her interested friends on Facebook. She designed a product called ‘the safety sleeper’ and now has other products as well, to prevent her autistic son from leaving the house in the middle of the night—she has started (1/4)

@photobert to use the fabric for her products to produce masks in her facility—she will be donating a lot of hers to facilities that provide long-term care for adults with special-needs—they have NO masks and have asked for 350. She is using her fabric as it is tightly woven, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial and great for anyone with tactile issue. I cannot afford that in bulk—so a lot of mine are going to hospices, nursing homes, and are being picked up by anyone with a pre-existing condition.

@photobert Search for CDC home made face masks, or 1-95 cdc home made face masks, there is a lot of good info out there. Mine is double layered with a filter pocket, and is fully adjustable across the nose, around the ears, and under the chin. I didn’t like how the others felt—I have a type of blood cancer that makes me itch like mad and I have low oxygen due to it, so I have a hard time catching my breath—I wanted one that I could wear for a long time during drs appts.
