I hate the Grammys because it’s completely rigged.

3 years ago@Jrod457 exactly. I didn’t watch it, but I heard that they used them for views as well. They were the last performance of the night cuz the Grammys knew that a lot of people were only watching because of BTS... I’m still piśśed 😒

3 years ago@Jrod457 yea exactly. BTS were the the obvious winners in terms of who else was nominated. The reason they didn’t is because they are considered “KPOP” in western music. Unfortunately I don’t think they will ever get the recognition they deserve at US award shows and that’s really upsetting

3 years ago@Jrod457 if they based it on views and how popular it was BTS would’ve won all the big awards. The Grammys are based on race. That’s why The Weeknd and ChloeXHalle got snubbed as well. BTS outperform everybody and they don’t get the credit. I really can’t get over the fact that they used them. It písses me off

3 years ago@Jrod457 well said. The song Rain On Me only had I think 1/3 of the views that Dynamite had and it was released like 3 months earlier. BTS makes songs that inspire people and cover deep topics, but the songs that are getting pushed everywhere are songs about sëx, women, and drugs. The Grammys is not based on popularity or how many views you get I don’t think it ever was. It’s based on race and how much power you have. Like how Beyoncé’s daughter won a Grammy just for being her daughter.

3 years ago@Jrod457 I didn’t even bother turning on the Grammys. I was keeping up with it online. I was so disappointed when I saw that they lost to people who didn’t even bother to show up. The Grammys will probably never acknowledge the impact BTS have made. They’ll just keep with the people who are all over the radio. I don’t think there are any popular artists nowadays that talk about loving yourself, mental health, or anything like that (but I might be wrong)

3 years ago@Jrod457 it is really rare to find artists who sing about these topics. I think that’s what made me really listen to BTS was how their songs were and how each of em contributed in their own way to the song. I’m a newer army so I haven’t been there to see them being mistreated by the media or award shows (I’ve looked it up) till yesterday at the Grammys.

3 years ago@Jrod457 the amount of award shows that wouldn’t give them the time of day is sickening. Now that they’ve got big shows like MAMA give them 30+ minute performances cuz that’s what’s gonna get them the views. (Not saying that people don’t care about other groups either)
