This is excellent work Tracy, just remember, real guys like chocolate too, especially me. Sorry to hear about that chronic pain you’re experiencing, I truly hope you can get some relief from these injections! Oh, and your pretty great yourself, so don’t sell yourself short my friend! Good luck with everything!

@Beachgrl (Carol) Girl, I am a walking mystery, lol. I have had 70% of what I was born with, removed. I was dismissed always because I was overweight, so THAT was always the excuse as far as doctors were concerned. Thus I would be blamed, shamed and ignored. I am obsessed with medical science as a result. Plus, I spent my career working with medically fragile, developmentally disabled persons, whom were also dismissed, because they couldn't talk and their mental capacity.

@Beachgrl (Carol) Since I am so obsessed with medical issues and conditions, I have been able to save a couple lives by figuring out an issue when doctors couldn't. My boss lovingly calls me "Doc," as I have helped him several times. My brother is a 23 year paramedic, but my mom asks me first, as my advice is better than his. The medical community has tried to keep me quiet since age 7, so I bought a megaphone ... lol! Your kindness is much appreciated.

@SockChi I did too back in the day, it worked for 3 days ... I get the most relief from anti inflammatory medications, like Celebrex. Inflammation is generally the root of all pain, unless it's acute, like a broken bone or laceration (et al). We all suffer ... very few people are born with "perfect" function or wiring. I have endured my spine issues for 22 years now ... but I can walk, take care of myself, and be independent ... so actually, doing pretty good. ❤

I hear you sweetheart, I've been dealing with chronic back pain for 40 years now. I've had injections, surgery ...everything they offer...nothing has helped. But like you , my friend, I keep on keeping on...got to. I'm my husband total caregiver, he has dementia. I'll keep you in my prayers 🙏 ❤ GORGEOUS JOB!!

Great job on this “odd to me” picture! 💕💕💕💕 I didn’t even attempt to make something out of it! Sure hope you get some help with your pain issues…doctors really do tick me off. I try to ignore their horrible bed-side mannners as best I can. Hang in there, thinking of you. 💙🧡💛💙🧡💛💙

You’ve had 70% of what you were born with removed?I can’t even fathom that. That is inexcusable that drs would dismiss you bc of ur weight. Drs shouldn’t be dismissing anybody for any reason. I’m so sorry you had to experience that. Your career sounds like a very noble one and I’m sure rewarding. Good for you for educating yourself so much with medical science. That is so amazing that you have been able to save lives bc of it! I’m all for doing our own homework when it comes to medical issues……

…It’s just too easy for drs to miss something. My daughter all of a sudden started having issues 2 years ago. First, she was diagnosed with PANS which is fortunately in remission. Later she was diagnosed with POTS bc she researched things and figured it out on her own. Right before that, Celiac Disease was found by accident. Last week, she asked to be tested for MALS and the u/s showed she probably has it. The GI dr told us that the surgery for it only has 50% chance of fixing it. Bc she and I..

…have been doing our research, we know that there is a surgeon in CT who has done over 700 of these surgeries and has a 92% success rate. If she needs that surgery, we’re going to CT. He’s the best in the world and we don’t want to mess around with this. It’s a complicated surgery and not many drs that have much experience with it. It’s a 4-6 month (or longer) recovery and very painful so I really hope she doesn’t turn out to have it. Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent. Cont’d prayers for you🙏🏼
