1 year agoFavorite sandwich—at this time of year it would have to be a tomato sandwich or as we say back home—mater sammich. Two slices of a home grown tomato, Duke’s mayo, garlic salt, pepper on soft white bread. Enjoyed best with a glass of sweet tea while sitting on a front porch.

What is interesting is that when I was a kid, I knew many who used butter on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I have never met anyone who also knew of putting butter with peanut butter ... I feel validated!! lol

1 year ago@Lowie💜💜💜💜 Chips with every one, yes! Me too. My ex-ex boyfriend is from Austria and he never understood Americans eating chips with sandwiches. He was such a horrid person ... the anti chip stance should have been my first clue, lol.
I prefer low salt potato chips, but with bbq meats, I like fritos!!
