"157 Years" Slaves were freed and some states didn't tell them ... Do you know: Ever wonder why Black Americans have Anglo Surnames?? It's because when they were purchased by white slave owners, they were given the last name of the slave owner, as the slaves were deemed merely property and OWNED by the slave master. Slaves had their entire history and culture stripped away from them. Hence the cultures they have created for themselves.

Sorry for the tirade, but, I am very terrified for my country and for those who don't fit into this restricted list of who matters and who doesn't. Imagine if you will, if it were reverse ... imagine being hated, oppressed and not having the same rights as others in your own country, just because of your skin color. Seriously, imagine that. This is an especially beautiful piece Tracy, exceptional work! I find it absolutely mind boggling to know that people could be that sick in the head to reason that they had the right to be so incredibly cruel and inhumane to other people! How could the slave owners say they believed in God and then treated other human beings like property? I hope Hell provided a special place for people that evil and may they burn as slaves to the fires of hell for eternity!

I have heard people hating their own grandchildren because they are half black ... now how horrid is that?? I see what is coming. I can't elaborate as it will surely be removed. I share your thoughts and agree also. We are all children of God and skin color does not matter in His eyes. In my close family, we welcome you. We have white, black, brown, Cherokee Native American. We are all family and love our heritage that we share. When you die, God will not look at the color of your skin. ♥️♥️🙏✝️🙏
