Hey guys! So no intro, this is the third character in the story Iโm currently posting and writing and stuff! This is Tia, and hereโs a little bit of her story: โ ๏ธ I Drew this and wrote this, no stealing pleaseโ ๏ธ
Tia glanced out the window, hoping for a glimpse of the robin she knew sheโd heard. When she didnโt see anything, she sighed and looked back at her book.
She tried to flip the page of her book(Becoming by Michelle Obama), but her long fake nails prevented it.
She sighed again. She had WANTED to dress up as Michelle Obama for CeCeโs costume party, but CeCe had convinced her to dress up as Cardi B instead.
Tia didnโt really mindโsheโd do anything for CeCeโbut still, Michelle was her hero.
She and CeCe werenโt actually related, but Tia viewed her as an older sister.
When Tia was six, her mom had died, and so she had moved in with her momโs best friendโElise, and her daughter, Cecelia Hayes.
The only person that called her Cecelia was Elise, though.
Tia heard the robin call again, and snapped her head around to gaze out again. She knew she heard it. The only question was, was it a good sign or a bad one? Every time she heard a robin, something interesting happened after it.
Last time, her mother had died.
The time before that, her father had run off to Peru.
But it wasnโt always bad.
A knock on the door had her looking up.
CeCe came in with a laugh. โoh my god, Tia! You look so beautiful!โ
Tia closed the book and stood up. In her black Demi-cup, see through gray shirt, and black leggings, with her shoulder length black hair pulled back in a stylish way, and her makeup done flawlessly, she was the very epitome of Cardi B.
Meanwhile, CeCe,
In her Nicki Minaj outfit, looked so breathtaking that Tia nearly had an asthma attack.
One of the really awesome things about living with CeCe was that she and Tia actually looked alike, which meant nobody questioned whether Tia belonged there, they just assumed she and CeCe were sisters.
Back in her home with her mom and dad, sheโd always felt a little out of place. She had inherited her maternal grandmothers smooth, dark skin, while her father was white(he was from England), and her mother
was still a littler lighter than Tia(her mother was Jamaican.)
CeCe smiles shyly. โwhat do you think, Tia?โ
She spun in a circle. โDo I look like a sight for sore eyes?โ
Tia giggled. โAnd more,โ she said.
CeCe giggled with her. โCome on,โ she said, holding out her hand. โThe party is starting in a few minutes, and we are the hosts.โ
Tia smirked, but took CeCeโs hand. โYOUโRE the host, C,โ she said. โTheyโre coming for you.โ
CeCe shrugged.
โmaybe, but you look so beautiful, Iโm sure you convinced a lot of them to come.โ
Tia rolled her eyes, and followed CeCe out of the room.
As she left, a robin alighted on her windowsill, and squawked loudly.
It almost sounded like a warning.
Tia Robin Hayes, you need to run.
