1 year ago@Lisa Mays Ahhh, Lisa, thank you kindly. And yep, a second disaster in Texas. This time i did not lose power for days like two years ago, but i did lose two 30 ft tall cedar trees which are now on the actual ground right next to my porch. Obviously God saved my house, lol. One should have hit it and didn’t, it’s a miracle, lol. Whole ranch iced over. Oddly my road into town never did, crazy! I think we can say the weather is no longer changing, but already changed. :( Also…

1 year ago@Lisa Mays …….as of yesterday, even though temps were in the 60s, Austin had more than 1,000 traffic lights out. Nothin is more scary than that town with rogue drivers everywhere! Lol

I don’t know one person with a sled in central Texas….we have palm trees here between San Antonio and Austin, where I live smack dab in between! I’m sure your niece and family are better prepared for this type of weather than we are. No one here has snow tires, few people have chains. But mostly, our electric grid system sucks across the entire state. I’m not sure who to thank for that. Lol

Crazy for us too- snow everywhere and recent below zero temps- yet today my daughter said, “Wow it’s warm out. It’s 42°” We thought the weather App was wrong.
