Thank you so much for your kind comments. I can’t express how much your words mean. I have been hit with a ridiculous amount of, “she was just a dog,” and, “you knew this was coming” from my “loved ones”, so your words were more than comforting. They were validating. Dogs make the best therapists, co-pilots, bed warmers, food testers, human walkers, alarm clocks, and BBFs. You never have to worry about being judged, no matter how messy your hair is or how bad your breath stinks. I miss it❤️

The only problem with dogs is that they can’t be around long enough. I hope, if it’s in the cards, that you adopt another sweet animal because you’re a terrific mom. ❤️🐾

Adorable. Our dogs are our best friends. I miss mine as well. As a dog lover I get how devastating the loss is. Ignore the negativity. Those poor souls never had the friendship of a dog.

@KarenMay thank you so much for your kind words. I don’t know where the 10 years went. The house feels empty now. I don’t think we can leave it like this for too long. It’s too calm and quiet, and far too clean. I actually miss muddy 🐾 all over the house

I am judging from your message that you just lost your best friend 😭😭😭 I am so sorry, it’s crazy but losing a pet can harder than loosing a human. There is such a bond between you and fur baby. Like you said they love you unconditionally. They are always excited to see you and always want to be close to you. I have a chocolate lab that is 12 she has a cancer cyst on her belly. The vet said it was more than likely cause from her never having puppies. They said they live longer just leave it alone

I feel your pain so very well @aidybene . I lost my little Honey five weeks ago. She had a violent death. She was with me for only one year and to this day I’m still crying for her at least once a day - so I can only imagine your sense of loss and your pain after over 9 years. I’m so sorry you’re going through this hard time my friend. I pray you find comfort knowing you were blessed to have had her and in the memories you made together. God bless you always.

I agree with Karen, our dogs never stay around as long as we would like! Still I would never be without one! I’m sure you can find one that can give you dirty paw prints and loads of love! Take care my friend ❤️❤️

Than trying to remove it. So that’s what we chose to do, that’s been about 3 years now and she is still going. I can tell that her health is declining. It breaks my heart, I will be totally crush if something happens to her. So I know how you feel about your baby. I take pride in knowing she has lived an amazing life, she has been spoiled rotten. Hope you find some peace soon. I know you good pet parents, so you did your job in protecting him/her while they were here. It loved you too!💔💔❤️❤️

@Aleja ah I’m so sorry that you had to experience that. I chose to put Kie down and still feel so guilty, but it was peaceful and there’s no understating how important that is in healing. I think the instant we form that bond with our fur babies, it doesn’t matter if we have them for a year or 10. Feeling that bond shatter is equally painful. Thank you for sharing, and I’m sorry for your loss 🙏
