I used my very basic knowledge of color theory on this one. I knew I wanted to use purple so I chose yellow as an accent color because they’re opposites on the color wheel. Then I used androgynous (colors next to each other on the wheel) for shading. Dark blue to shade purple, purple to shade pink, orangeish brown to shade yellow and so on.
