1 month agoThis coloring is dedicated to my mother. She just got news yesterday that she has lung cancer, which doesn’t make sense she never smoked a day in her life and has not been in an exposed to anything that would cause cancer. She is an artist and has of course had a big influence on everything in my life but when it comes to art she is so talented and I have always admired everything that she does.

1 month agoThis has been a difficult year for my family as my nephew, who is 5, goes in next month for his second open heart surgery and now my mom, not to mention the loss of some other dear friends.
The best we all can do is stay positive and be there for the ones we love. I appreciate all your kindness that you have shown to me over the past year that I have been on RC. Everyone is really so nice and supportive community ❤️❤️❤️

1 month agoOh no I’m sorry. My mum had lung cancer. It isn’t always caused by smoking etc. most of the time but not always. You must be devastated. My mum was an artist too. Sending lots of love

1 month agoKrys, I am so sorry to hear that about your mom. My dad had lung cancer and smoked and so did my sister.🥲. Be there and maybe you could take her to chemo or radiation treatment sometimes. Help make some meals and keep her eating. She will be in my prayers along with your precious nephew. God says, He wouldn’t put us through anything we couldn’t handle. 🥰
