hello my dudes.
Iโm drawing sm rn. This is a drawing about people WHO TELL YOU YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED AND THEN JUST END UP NOT CARING AND HURTING YOU. ok. Iโm done. The hand is rly good imo but the bow is terrible. Right now Iโm working on my first painting, which is a jellyfish, and itโs just really muddy but not too terrible. Any oil paint tips would be greatly appreciated.
This is unbelievably deep. And very good! I've been painting for 2-3 years now, and I'll give you my best tips.
- Use paint thinner. The painting takes less time to dry, and the paint goes so much farther, so you don't have to use as much.
- Always paint the darkest colors first.
- I usually sketch out my pictures before I paint, but I do like to challenge myself and go freestyle.
- Paint the background first, then move up to the foreground.

And liquid white or paint thinner helps it look less muddy. And most of all, this applies to drawing, too: DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE PICTURE.
I can't wait to see it! It'll be great! ๐๐๐
Ahh thank you!!!
Gosh those are really good tips. Thank you so much. I did paint darker colors first but I started with the foreground. Iโm planning for the background to be just a plain color tho.
๐thank you๐
