3 years ago@Maurice I totally agree with your brother as this condition is beyond pain π« it is a burning, stinging, itching pain (that cannot be scratched as it causes even more pain) π³ I have had the shingles for 8 weeks now & am unlucky enough to be in the postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) stage where recurrent pain is caused by pressure on a nerve & nerve damage & the stabbing pain is excruciating; it may last months or even years & I have no choice but to ride it out π

3 years agoSo sorry to hear that. Think my brotherβs fully cleared up within 2 to 3 weeks. Guess he was lucky in that regard. Wishing you the best. Hopefully, it will prove to be only days or weeks rather than months for you to recover and the pain to subside. πππ
