The platypus is a remarkable mammal found only in Australia. Iโve only ever see two in the wild in my bushwalking days.
The platypus is a duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed, egg-laying aquatic creature native to Australia. The male of the species is also one of the world's few venomous mammals it has a deadly spur located on the back two paws and can inject a liquid that kills cats, dogs etc. Only as big as a beaver and so cute.

2 years ago@KarenMay yes you are correct - It seems like a combination of a bird, amphibian and a quadruped mammal. It suckles its young and has fur like a beaver, yet it lays eggs like a bird. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
