I love primitive art and folk art … (now that I’m an antique too 🙂). I appreciate old things and remembrances of the past now, especially those from my childhood. I’m sure we all go through that phase as we look back in our lives. I just wish I had kept all those Barbies and vinyl record collections, and books, etc etc. DARN 🙄. This is so sweet, like you, I love country/primitives ... this makes me feel peaceful!!

2 years agoMagnificent artwork, @Deborah H! The simple lines, uncluttered composition, & dramatic colours, all just work together so beautifully. And yes, I too have come to appreciate the naif, folky art style more as I too have grown older!
